Mars Hi Protein Bar (12 x 59g) - Salted Caramel

As I progress on my weight loss journey I have been trying new and different Power Bars and protein bars in the hopes of finding some that are flavorful it's still provide 20 to 30 grand of protein and the Mars Bars really hit the spot, These bars only contain four grams of sugar yet pack a whopping 20 grams of solid protein. They do have a slightly different chocolate taste than you would experience from the actual candy bar, but that is due to the lower sugar content. They have a hint of caramel, so that also adds some pleasantry to each bite.Overall, they are tasty and don't have that chalky/grainy taste that many other protein bars seem to have.

This doesn't contain sugar alcohols and has the same calorie-to-protein ratio as Quest or any other top brands. They use normal, regular sugar instead and it's so much better. No digestion issues (unlike with sugar alcohols which is very common for most people) and it tastes EXACTLY LIKE A MARS BAR!I've had almost every protein bar out thereMARS Hi Protein is 10/10 best protein bar no contest

Nice protein bar but does not taste like a Mars bar.

Thank goodness someone finally made a protein bar without sugar substitutes. Sugar substitutes all taste horrible to me. They also cause gastrointestinal issues for me, even when the brands that say they don't. I wish there were more options like this to increase protein without forcing it down because it tastes awful, only to have gastrointestinal issues later. Please, don't ever stop making these!!

I challenge you to distinguish this from a candy bar. Its high in protein, and for these types of bars on the market this one tastes the best. However there is no free lunch, and in this case you pay for the flavor with higer than I would like levels of sugar. As long as its used sparingly, its a good option.

They were smart for making these with some sugar instead of that gross artificial sweetening. The problem is, they tastes nothing like a Mars bar. The picture shows caramel and there is none. I added some 80% dark chocolate to it and that worked great. 20 grams of protein? I'll take it.

The taste is not too bad compared other popular protein bars. However, it still has the weird after taste and the sugar alcohol upsets my stomach sometimes.
