Niffty small to medium EDC knife - a keeper
I saw this on Amazon and loved the sound of it, but even better in the hand! The micarta handle has a soft, rounded feel that is comfortable and looks great. The blade is a useful shape and made of 14C28N steel, a stainless steel designed for knives and highly regarded, yet inexpensive because it has stood the test of time. Well put together, centered blade, opens and closes easily with a liner lock. Best, it is the product of an American small business. Love it and recommend highly with no reservations.

Can’t put it down
I got in on the original kickstarter and ordered two of the D2 G10 versions of this knife. Those are decent knives that went into my frequently used rotation. I bought this one because 14c28n in one of my favorite steels; it’s tough, holds a reasonable edge and is very easy to strop or sharpen. The easy swap out scales is a fun feature that I’ve played with on my D2 versions. Honestly I love these micarta scales and they are staying. They are definitely a smoother micarta and the edges are nicely rounded and very easy on the eyes. The G10 that comes on the D2 versions is more boxy and textured. If I planned on doing work with this knife I’d throw on a set of G10 scales. As a normal useful edc knife, the micarta scales are awesome.I appreciate that the knife is a very useful smaller size. My preferred knife blade lengths (with some exceptions) are 2-3.25 inches so this fits perfectly for my needs. Even though I own many knives, this one has been in my pocket every day since I received it. If I ever lost it, I’d immediately purchase another. Might even be my favorite knife.

What issssssss up guyssss?!
Can’t say enough good things about Knafs. This little guy is awesome and easy to carry everyday. The micarta feels just right and develops a nice patina over time. The action is smooth and snappy at the same time. Blade steel holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen. Great EDC companion at work since it’s not a big knife. Highly recommend it be added to your collection as well as EDC rotation.

Good knife, but...
This is a good knife. Probably a great knife. It's a little small in the hand (I wear a size large glove), which makes it difficult for me to open quickly. I have to adjust the position of the knife a couple of times, which I don't have to do with a larger knife. I love the look.

Great size EDC
I absolutely love this knife. I bought this and a Bench Made Mini-Grip at the same time. I really like them both, but I tend to daily carry this over the Mini-Grip. Both sweet knives, but for $60 this one is highly recommended from me.

Poor fit
This knife is generally a great size for an EDC pocket knife. The blade comes razor sharp right out of the box, and the lock-upis very solid, with minimal movement in the blade once it is in place. The action of the opening of the blade is also quite good. It came very stiff but quickly loosened up.The issue that I have is that the fitment is quite poor. In the closed position, I can squeeze gently on the scales near the pivot and this causes the blade to move from side to side within the liner and it causes the blade to impact and "click" against the liner. When closing the knife, the blade is also offset so far to the side that it impacts the scales and rubs against them as is closing. For a knife of this price point, I'm honestly disappointed. I really want to love this knife but unfortunately it's hard to look past the rather poor fitment.

Great knife.
I love the knafs 1 but the deployment on the one I have is disappointing. I ordered a replacement pocket clip that cost over half of what the knife costs. It feels perfect in hand but it seems to be stiff to deploy.

One of the best EDC knives regardless of price!!
I have come to prefer blade lengths under 3". The Mini Bugout, Mini Grip Sheepsfoot, Dragonfly 2, and Baby Banter are my favorites. This Lander is now added to the list of favorites.I really can't find anything to complain about on this knife. Good quality reputable steel, locks up tight, flicks open extremely easy, the micarta is done nicely, and it is a light maneuverable knife. Deep carry clip coupled with a low overall weight makes me forget I have it in my pocket. Also, the ability to print your own scales and quickly change them out is a cool feature. I may buy the original base model Lander to play with scale swaps. This one is staying as is.This is definitely a heck of a buy. I also like buying from small businesses and the Knaf story is interesting and another reason I bought this knife. The moon landing being the motivation for this knife also caught my attention as I live very near the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum.Alot of good quality knives coming out of China these days. It is getting really hard for me to justify buying mid and upper end knives when sub $100 Chinese knives are as good as they are.
