Proper string fit for older model traditional bows
Many of the older model bows (recurves specifically) will not accept the Fast-Flight strings. Having a string that fits into the string grooves on the limbs is essential. This string (mine was a 14 strand for a 50 lbs bow) is the exact string for this type of bow, e.g. Bear Kodiak Magnum, Bear Grizzly, or any of the older Bear bows. The quality is excellent. My string is still in the "stretching stage", but so far it has performed far better than the Flemish Twist I was using. I think most people using this type of string will find it easier to maintain the proper brace height sooner than with most Flemish strings..... however this is just my experience and may not be true for everyone. There are a mixed opinions on the efficacy of the Flemish string over the Strand type Dacron B-50, but I have always preferred the B-50. Many times the "serving" portions of the string are better and the looped ends are almost always better as far as fit (again, string groove fit on older traditional bows). Much of the "plus or minus" of the Flemish string is contingent on the maker. Unless you have a really good string builder; the Dacron B-50 is generally more consistent in it's design. The product I ordered arrived before schedule and was exactly what I was looking for. I'm very satisfied. ------I wrote the forgoing response when I purchased my first bow string from you. I literally whore the first string out and decided to opt for a 16 strand string, as I felt the kinetic energy from the Kodiak Magnum might be too much for the 14 strand. Nontheless, the first string performed very well, given the abuse I gave it. I anticipate that the 16 strand will perform even better. Thanks for a very good product. N. Cummins

No nocks included
The bow string is fantastic quality, but it’s the wrong size. The bow that I bought a while ago was listed as 54, actual 51” in my past purchases, so I went with that. For whatever reason it turns out that’s not the right size, and it’s more likely my fault, not the string seller. Also, there were no free nocks included, which I was looking forward to trying. Over all it’s a great string, it just wasn’t the one I needed.

Striing a-long
I work for a school district. Several years ago, after they stopped teaching archery, I pulled a old wood bow out of the trash,Ran across it the other day and what the heck lets shoot arrows at a dirt bank behind the house. Need a string. After trying to make sense out of the length needed formula I managed to order the wrong length. too short. Package received said 58 inches. Is that the bow or string? Measured again. Note: bow is 'Long Bow' style, (No re-curve) 60 inches tip to tip. - 4 inches off = 56 inches. Two inches shorter than then one I got! Or is this notation on the pactage the bow length, string? I tried to view the original order to see what I ordered, but Amazon wouldn't let me.One on line source said string groove to string groove. That would make the bow bow 59 inches...I'll try again. Or look for a set of Lawn Darts to throw at the dirt bank..I know this is crazy, but lets say the bow is 60 inches long less 4 inched, (stick out tongue think..) get a string56 inches.. Though I did? Nearest archery shop is 30 miles away. Road trip?By the by, I'm going by the rule of thumb here. Fist with extended thumb back of bow to string. the 58" is three inches beyond tip of thumb. That too short right???Great news received the correct string and it works great. WOW! what great service! A great string from a great company. This is just great!Asked to write more so here we go...great news! The shop felt my pain and made allowances for my iqnorenance regarding bow strings ad sent me the proper string. Nice to deal with people who take time to help new grunt brain archers in their time of personal perspiration peril.

High Quality String for a Great Price
This is my 3rd string from Keshes. All of them have been for recurve bows of varying lengths. These strings have held up to upwards of a thousand shots each at this point, and only one of them needed the serving to be redone where the arrow sits, but I suspect that was due to the nocks on the arrows I was using. For the price these are hard to beat, and were comparable quality, if not better, than some at local hunting stores for a fraction of the cost, and with no worries of availability if you have old or odd length bows.Overall I am very satisfied and won't hesitate to purchase more of these strings in the future.
