My Dad bought this for something to do since him and Mom are retired. He's not finished it yet but very much enjoys it. I'm sure he will probably buy a wooden trian to build next!

I bought this for my son who loves gears and putting things together he loved it! My neighbor puts all of these together has bought a lot of them love them!

This is a wonderful wood type puzzle, it is a bit challenging but the instructions/directions are easy to follow and are clearly written. The wood pieces pop out easily for the most part, I do recommend popping them out easily as to not break or crack any of the pieces! Very beautiful once all put together and it works well too, great quality pieces and all around! This would make a great gift for any puzzle/building fanatic! Wonderful quality and even better value!

I’ve made a number of more difficult projects. I find this one not to be difficult, but quite flimsy, and the quality of the instructions are pathetic!

I appreciate the design of this kit, and I like the concept. The problem for me was that almost none of the joints fit properly - all of them, including the more critical features - were so loose that even mild pressure would separate them.Worse still, the fit was so loose that even superglue failed to be of any use.I was unable to finish this project. None of the other kits in this genre that I've tried had this problem - it may be unique to the kit or even to the particular unit I bought.

Something happened to the spring in the assembly. It was working fine but when i went back to check it to make sure it was all still balanced it unspun and I tried taking it apart and tightening the spring but that didn't work. I'm really bummed. This was a birthday gift and it's useless since it doesn't work. Also I had difficulty getting the engine components to line up properly on the top. It takes way more than a little sanding to get them all balanced properly.

Other puzzles I've done have the part number on the part. This makes it easier to manage loose parts. This kit did not, so you have to pay closer attention to the pictures. Good kit tho.
