Works completely as advertised!
Works great! My old charge controller would allow the turbine to charge over 16 Volts. The brake control on this controller works perfectly at 14.5 V. Great product for the price. I recommend it

I used this controller for a 500w Wind turbine

functional but wrong label
It appears to be labeled wrong. The red brake light is labeled battery.So, when hooking it up, it looks like the labeled brake light (green)is always on.I can see the brake function working on turbine, but the supposed red brake light never lights.I question quality control at Mars Rocks

Limited capability
Worked but had to replace with better model, no led display, and brake engages too often at low wind speeds. I recommend using better model with more options.

Lock light is always on
The lock light is always on. It is not charging the battery, although I followed the instructions thoroughly.
