Odie's requires some practice but, if you do it right, you will have a hard satisfying finish.
So, if you were to ask me for a review of Odie's Wax after using it the first time, I would have flamed them for being an overpriced, over self-promoted finishing product. However, after spending a few days practicing with it and allowing it to have some quality time to itself while laying out, like a blond on the beach, I found it hardened just the right amount to allow to allow me to give it a high-quality buffing. Take your time with this as you do not want to rush the finish. The end product was a really sweet, hardened finish without any excess product left anywhere, allowing me to sit back and enjoy a cigarette while sitting calmly at my new desk. In the end, Odie's worked well.

Incredible product.
I purchased this to finish my butcher block counter top as a top coat to Odie’s oil. It works amazingly. Gives an extra layer of waterproofing and a brilliant shine once it is buffed. It lasts about 6 months before it needs a reapplication on our heavy use piece of counter. Can not recommend this enough for a countertop sealant.

Great quality
I bought this for a gentleman that was doing shelves for me. The coverage is absolutely stunning. He said it was very easy to use. Definitely worth the money.

most epic wood wax ever
We have a ton of wood furniture that doesn't have a lacquer and requires waxing. Waxing was a process I used to dread and got mixed results before I found Odie's. I bought my first jar because I bought a 15' live edge Monkey Pod table, and I didn't want to darken the natural wood color much while still having a protective matte finish. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the results. We now use Odie's on all our solid wood furniture. It's pricey, but REALLY worth it

Hardest wax finish I’ve found!
Whole bunch of work to apply, wipe off and polish. Actually, the most difficult I’ve ever used. Must have an orbital polisher with good variable speed control. Great results if you have the patience! Suggest the Porter Cable orbital polisher on Amazon!

Best wood wax protective and finish I’ve used
I use the entire Odie’s Oil system since being recommended it highly by several woodworkers. When I make wands and paint plaques to hang their wands for friends, family, and those who order them, I finish all my wood, plaque included, with Odie’s Oil, and finish my wands with Odie’s wax on top for extra protection, as they need to stand up to being handled, carried, used for costumes, etc. One of my favorite things about this system is how safe and natural it is, and yet how durable. It smells absolutely incredible and leaves all the wands I make feeling and smelling amazing in the hands.

Great for Cutting Boards
I make cutting boards, serving trays, and wooden bowls out of various hardwoods. Odie's Oil and Odie's Wax are my preferred way to finish them. It is food safe and provides great protection for the wood. I do one coat of Odie's Oil followed by one coat of Odie's Wax. I follow the Odie's instructions and get a great result. Odie's has a couple of good How To videos by the founder of Odie's on YouTube. The oil and the wax are very easy to work with, smells great, and leaves your hands supple (no gloves required). After using the cutting boards, trays, etc. for food prep, I can wash them with dish soap and a dish scrubber without impacting the finish at all.
