Earlier this year I finally cut the cable cord and went to streaming services. I wanted to also get my locals, but where I live, I didn't have many good options, so I opted to try this antennae based on the 4-5 reviews it has at the time. Setup was simple and I was using it indoors. After pointing it towards where all the local transmitters are located 18 miles south of town, I turned on my Samsung TV and had it do a channel scan. After it was finished, I was surprised that there were several channels saved that I didn't even realize are broadcast in the area. I was so impressed with the picture quality and the performance of the Antop, I ordered two more for my other two tvs in the house. On two of my TV's, I do have the VHF rods attached. On the antennae in the bedroom, there wasn't enough room for the rods where I had the antennae sitting. I did a scan and after it was done, I tuned to a local VHF channel and the picture was perfect. One thing I did notice is at different times of day, and depending on which TV I was watching, I would get some pixelation and sound dropping. There is a 5g cell tower about 2-3 blocks behind my house and in between my house and the broadcast antennas south of town. I ordered three Phillips 5g filters. Installed them and it took care of the problem. If you do this be sure you install it before the amplifier, not after. I just attached one end to the in side of the amplifier and the other one the cable coming from the antennae. For the $49.99 price, this is an outstanding OTA antennae. Highly recommend!

This is our second Antop antenna. I have tried other brands with not much luck (2-9 channels). My Antop antenna gives us 30+ channels. I have it connected to a Fire TV Recast, so we have live tv on all our Fire sticks.

It was everything I expected

An amplified antenna can't amplify a signal if the AC to DC converter plug is missing and the antenna has no power supplied to it. Seems to be a quality control problem at the factory because the replacement sent was missing the exact same part and had to be returned as well. I really wanted this to work since I have one in the house that already works well and needed a second for another over the air (OTA) channel puller.

It is exactly as it is described and better easy to connect and use

We cut the cord with this antenna. Out HOA unit has substantial steel siding, and we have trees in line with the antenna direction. So, picking up channels inside was questionable, but we were pleasantly surprised after picking up all local major stations and many others. The antenna exceeded expectations.

I live 40 miles from the tv transmitter towers and the signal reception is intermittent at best. Maybe if you lived on a hill with no trees and line of sight to the towers you would have a better experience. For now I will probably find a better antenna and give this one to a coworker who is only 20 miles from the towers. I can see no way that this can be a 75 mile antenna.
