This thing is very cool. My wife laughed at me when I bought it, but I get a kick out of folding my own tee shirts, and I have a lot of them. This folding unit is very well made and very sturdy. Folds up small for easy storage. Tee shirts stack much nicer when they are folded this way.

This makes folding laundry fun! It really does! And I’m one of those people who hates folding clothes! I love throwing the flaps around to get this neat, folded piece of clothes

Easy even for me to use

I really wanted to love the v7, but is it just okay. I gave it a good test drive by folding about 55 shirts. Here's what I have learned:This device does not really save time, but it definitely delivers on producing a standard tidy result. The v7 is quite sturdy, and the metal hinges suggest it will last a good long time. I have difficulty folding t-shirts the same size, so this tool really does help me in that department.The downsides, though, make me wish I had gone for the less expensive version. While the hinges make it sturdier, they also get in the way and make it rather difficult to smooth the fabric before folding. In fact, using the v7 required stopping to re-smooth the fabric at ever single fold, negating any potential time savings. The metal parts also scratched my laundry table, something that would not have happened with the plastic-only models.It's a simple device, but the design of the v7 model makes it a bit more cumbersome to use than simpler models. It is also bulky. I will be downgrading to a simpler model.

It fun to fold laundry now

First of all, you should never be flipping through your phone late at night and order something on Amazon on a whim such as a folding device. That is what I did. It seemed like a good idea in the middle of the night. And I didn’t just order the cheap plastic one, oh no… I got the metal one, the heavy duty one, the one that will last literally forever!! Anyway, when it came, I was impressed that it was well-made and very strong and heavy. I did fold my sweaters and shirts with it and it did indeed fold everything very uniform. It was fun to use, and I even got to the point where I was folding things very quickly and feeling very impressed with myself. I bet my grandkids would love to use this. However, reality set in and my practical brain took over and asked, “do you really need a device to fold things exactly perfectly in the closet when you’re just gonna mess them up first time you pull a sweater out?” I thought to myself this was definitely ordered on a whim and I should return it, yet it sat and sat and sat in the corner of my bedroom until the return window closed. Now I have a folding device that I will never use again and it was quite expensive. Lesson learned. Don’t be like me and order unnecessary things in the middle of the night. Go to sleep, you will thank yourself in the morning. Unless of course you like fun folding devices and you want perfectly folded everything in your closet, and in that case, this would be a good device for you. Five stars for quality of the device, zero stars for the necessity of the device (in my opinion) for an average of three stars.
