Great Concept and Execution
This is exactly what I’ve needed for years! My G7 Mark ii (and my previous Mark i) have limited f/stop and shutter speeds as compared to my DSLR. This allows the use of ND filers to add more control of the light. And, it allows for the us of a polarizer.The adapter is a great, simple concept that works. I just took it for a week long cycling/camping trip to the gravel roads deep in Utah’s canyon country. The roads are tough on equipment. My camera was kept in a bag mounted to my handlebars. I must have pulled it out 10 times a day for photo ops. The shaking and rough handling didn’t have any effect on the adapter. Bravo!

Invaluable when you need it. Unobtrusive when you don't.
The mount you have to stick to the camera wasn't hard to put on but you want to be sure you get it right so it's like performing surgery. Once it's on it's never come off for me. I only use the CPL filter for outdoor landscape stuff so I just keep the mount, filter, and lens cap as a unit in my camera bag. Then when I'm going to be shooting I put it all on.Occasionally I want a more pocketable solution and even with the stuck on mounting ring it's not noticeable when it's in your pocket.
