Does exactly what it’s supposed to do — no drama, no fuss
I’m using this right now while I write this, and it just quietly gets on with the job.Plug it in, switch the ports on or off, and that’s it — no drama, no fuss, no need to mess about. It does exactly what it’s meant to do. Seven ports, proper fast transfer speeds, powered so it handles external drives without breaking a sweat. And those individual on/off switches? Surprisingly handy when you’ve got half your desk wired up to test gear and gadgets. Is it flashy? No. Does it need to be? Absolutely not.— it just works. If you’re building out a workstation, tinkering with Raspberry Pis, external SSDs, or just need reliable powered ports, this is a great bit of kit. Solid, simple, and no complaints.

Very good
Very good. Build quality decent and well made. Is powered and so is easily supporting numerous USB devices for me which wouldn't be possible if not mains connected. Ports are well made and nice and tight, bright blue LEDs. The only thing I would have preferred is physical switches for each port but I knew that when purchasing (couldn't find an alternative with physical switches).

A good solution
This is a great solution for computers with few USB connections. I like the sturdy, reassuringly weighty aluminium case. I also like that you can unmount connected devices by simply touching one of the relevant buttons for a couple of seconds, rather than having to do it via the PC's system tray. My only quibble is that I wish it had slightly longer leads so there were more options for where you can place the hub, hence four stars. Otherwise, it does the job well.

Perfect for Raspberry Pi 5
I purchased this powered USB hub for my Raspberry Pi 5 to connect a large HDD. Due to the limited power output of the Pi's USB ports, this hub ensures my HDD always receives enough power. It powers my HDD and works perfectly with my RPi5. I highly recommend this for RPi5 enthusiasts who want to fully utilize their device.

So good, works perfectly and so useful to have switched sockets, exceptionally good value

Good USB hub but the on/off buttons are hard to use.
The media could not be loaded. It works great, some decent speed but the soft touch buttons are horrible, there’s a huge delay to them activating, it feels like you have to press really hard to activate them I wish I had not got this now but probably too late to return it. As long as you don’t need to turn devices off individually it works.

Flawless Performance
If you need a USB hub, take my advice and buy a powered one like this. If you rely just on USB power alone, performance drops quickly and noticeably with the more devices you attach. By having one that is mains powered, you will see no deterioration at all.The hub has performed exactly as I'd want and expect, and being able to enable/disable each port as required is a massive plus point. It means occasional devices can stay connected without having to unplug them.Through speed is great, which isn't always the case with hubs like this, and it's a surprisingly small form factor which is great if you already have a busy desk, like I do.It does exactly what it's supposed to, which shouldn't really need to be a plus point, but is. Can't fault it

It’s great except for a socket not working.
This is a great item for the many usb sockets I need for my pc, and nice you can turn off the ones not needed, however one of the 2 usbc ports has stopped working already so I’m now having to buy a converter so I can use a usb socket instead, bit of a pain as I’ve not even had it a week, other than that it would have got 5 stars.
