The tool did the job and you got to put some torque behind it for the ring to snap into place. Definitely worth it 👌

Excellent fuel tank lock ring tool makes removing lock rings extremely easy would recommend to anybody that needs to do a fuel pump in their vehicle

I really wanted to like this tool for the reusability on other vehicles, but unfortunately the bolts would not stay tightened. It was difficult to get an exact fit, but after a lot of adjustment and even after using a socket wrench to snug up the bolts, as soon as I applied any torque with a breaker bar, it would slip off due to one or more bolts giving. That can also be a safety issue, so I will just get one that was made for my car specifically.

I bought this for my car but didn't need it to do my fuel pump it's good quality

This tool made the job of removing fuel pump locking ring so much easier than using a hammer and pry barAnd they made it so much easier to tighten it down

Bought this for a Jeep YJ and it was useless. The tool itself is fairly well made for a cheap chineseum implement. But was not able to fit over the feed and return tubes to do it's job. It may work on other applications but not for a YJ

Worked on my 2002 Ford Explorer fuel pump retaining ring, But had to be held down firmly to prevent slippage.
