Easy to use, great value. Don't think about buying one, just do it. It'll save you in the long run
I think this key is the best bang for your buck compared to other brands especially because it's Fido2 with NFC.I skipped out on the more well known/popular brand because these are half the price and I wanted to buy 2.$50 for a main key and a back up is great considering this lil key could potentially save your bank accounts from being drained one day or scammers getting onto accounts with your card info.I also chose this key because I like the design and how it can be folded to cover the USB-C so you don't accidently bend it or something while carrying it around. You also don't have to worry about it falling out of the holder like the super tiny keys. So this one is great to have on your keychain.I use one of the more expensive keys for work and compared to this brand I would say set up and use if pretty much the same and it's very simple to use.For me, the only con to this key is that using NFC is kinda finicky. It's not that it doesn't work BUT with this one you have to have it held up to your phone precisely or it will not read. So that's kinda eh to me but I still love it.And for those of you who are new to using these, it's fairly simple to use even if you're not tech savvy. Scan the QR code on the device or got to their website and download their program so you can set your pin and then you're good to go.- Sign into the accounts you want to use this device with (not all websites support this feature yet btw)- open your security settings- set it up would just set it up as you would 2 set authentication. You should have the option to choose "physical key". Plug it in, type in your pin, press the lil button on your key and you're golden. You'll use that same method when you login.

Comparable to Yubikeys I've used for years
This device works well with login.gov and id.me sites like social security, irs, motor veh sites, etc., both on laptop (direct-connection) and mobile nfc devices. Easy setup and so far flawless use. Some sites require Yubikey specifically, but I found they offer simple workarounds. Not all sites offer security key access/verification (like my bank), but that may change in the future. You can also secure your device (such as a laptop) by requiring the key just to log on. That's a particularly nice feature if you travel with a laptop or otherwise use it in a less-than-secure environment.

great security
I purchased this for my aging parents, I felt perhaps a security key was something to use to secure their information without my always having to be present. Keeping track of all their passwords and updating them and warning them about security was becoming a hassle. This has been a complete game changer, once I set it up on their PC, they are able to use it with minimal assistance on their own. They are not tech friendly people, yet this is easy for them to maneuver. Setup was straightforward and relatively simple, we've had no issues since they have been using it for well over a month, even traveling with it and they are happy to be more independent when it comes to their digital life.

Blew me away for the price and features!
I was a little skeptical of buying this security key since YubiKeys are so widely recommended above all else but I’m been very impressed. I can confirm it is FIDO2 and can store TOTP’s within their apps. It does everything as advertised and I recommend this key as either your main key, or a fantastic cheap backup. I’ll go more in-depth below!!Hardware wise, it does feel a little cheap but I don’t feel like it would break within a month and for the price, it’s expected. I do like that it has the folding protector that covers the USB C port and makes it more modular. The button is also located on top so it’s very convenient to press and feels very nice.Software-wise, it does exactly what you would expect and works as advertised. It has NFC, FIDO2, WebAuth, and TOTP/HOTP support via their app which is on all PC and mobile platforms.Overall, I’ve been very impressed with this key and if you want the features of the 5 series YubiKeys without the high price (since you need a backup keep so that price adds up) and a built-in protector that makes it more portable, you can’t go wrong with this key and it’s especially recommended if you’re simply looking for a cheaper backup key.

Inaccurate description, not compatible with Linux
Mention Of Linux support appears in both the title and description, trusting this I ordered. When it arrived I went to the thetis.io website to get details on how to use the key and quickly found no mention of Linux whatsoever. In fact, under step 1 of "Initial key setup," it says to download "Thetis Key Manager" for your OS: Mac, Windows, Chrome, IOS or Android. No Linux!Since this was step 1 of the instructions, I immediately returned it. I won't be buying another Thetis product, but I did find another more appropriate product for the open/free/source Linux crowd, the Nitrokey from Germany. It not only supports Linux, but also is open source hardware and software that you can verify yourself.
