These buttons are large enough to use in toys or to stand out in a crowded panel. The push button operates smoothly with a pleasant resistance and an audible click. They can be wired OFF-(ON) [NO] or ON-(OFF) [NC]. The LED is independent of the button state.You could solder connections. I used 2.8 mm spade crimp connectors (female) with insulating and those have help up with no trouble.I used these buttons in a toy for a toddler and they get pounded rather than pressed. They have survived.

As described good product, works as it should

My daughter purchased these for a university engineering project. She designed and built a game similar to whack-a-mole but using these illuminated switches in place of the moles. As these lamps are designed for 24V, they had to be modified for 5V operation. Fortunately, the button tops can be popped off and the plug-in LED module is easily pulled out using needle nose pliers. Using a soldering iron, she disassembled the LED module, removed and bypassed the voltage dropping resistor, and reassembled the switch. She included the proper resistors on her circuit board for using 5V for these lamps. The lamps are not standard LEDs but are designed to be connected using either polarity which is a nice benefit. These worked very well for this application.

I needed these for building my own special PLC test box. They are the red and green buttons on the lower level with the 5 contacts on the blue back underneath. I like these as both the terminals for the internal LED are separate from any switch mechanism and the switch has both NO and NC contact options. For a PLC test box you could actually have 2 different switch inputs and 1 LED output to this one part. Bottom line is I control the light separate from the switch using the PLC. The switch is good quality, easy to solder and has a nice 4 bend corner mounting washer on the inside that bites into the smooth plastic box to prevent rotation in the round hole. Overall it is a good design and easily fitted by hand. I would recommend these.

I bought them for a battery powered DIY toy. They have a very satisfying click. The insert with the LED and the resistor can be easily removed and. For my need I desoldered the resistors to better control the brightness at 3.3V

These are quite good. I used them in a Star Wars themed arcade cabinet. The orange indicators are a bit dim than I would care for, but overall very well made.

These are really nice well-made switch, I use them on all kinds of projects, they add a littcle class and light up on 12v, led. They come in rectangular, round and square, multiple colours, latching and non latching.

Worked great for my PLC trainer project.
