I'll start by saying a little bit about my situation--I live with my parents, and we live in a house of about 2200 square foot house with a shed that's about thirty feet or less from the house. We were looking for a Mesh Wi-Fi system that would cover our entire house as well as reach out to that shed (my Dad uses that for his workshop and has a TV etc.). We have one option for internet, and one noncable or satellite option for TV, so after searching and trying multiple systems. I ended up with Netgear. This system has by far been the best for our needs. It says connected, is fast, was easy to set up (I'm tech savvy--someone who would be able to set it up within a reasonable amount of time if you follow directions). My personal recommendation is if you have trouble with the Orbi app go online and use the website--for whatever reason, the app WOULD NOT work for me. This system has reconnected automatically or with little issues after a power outage. I also love the Netgear/Orbi website that allows me to customize settings (both security, name my network etc.). As far as the system looks that really is a personal preference. I don't think they're bad. I really can't recommend this system or even Netgear/Orbi enough.

I recently made the switch from Eero to the Orbi WiFi system, and the difference is night and day. With Eero, I was constantly running into buffering, weak signals in parts of the house, and frustrating speed drops. Since installing Orbi, my entire home has consistent, blazing-fast coverage—even in previously dead zones.Setup was straightforward, and the app gives great control and visibility. I’ve got multiple smart devices, gaming systems, and streaming going at once, and Orbi handles it all effortlessly with zero hiccups.If you’re on the fence about upgrading, don’t hesitate—Orbi is the real deal for fast, reliable, whole-home WiFi.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this system to replace an older Orbi system that I had that I really liked. It was reliable and easy to configure. It just couldn’t keep up with newer internet speeds. I didn’t want to pay an arm and leg for the latest Orbi systems so landed on this one. It set up easily just like my old Orbi mesh system and I was excited to have an upgrade to our WiFi. Unfortunately that excitement didn’t last. I had nothing but issues with connections dropping, speeds being even slower than my old system, and frustration from the entire family. After a few months I gave up and purchased an Eero system instead. The Eero has been fast, reliable, and easy and all the complains from family members about how bad the WiFi was with the Orbi suddenly stopped and everybody was happy. I’m sure the newer Orbi mesh systems that cost over $1000 up to over $2000 probably work great, but this one was a complete failure full of headaches and frustration. Do yourself a favor and either look to spend the premium bucks for the high end Orbi or get an Eero. If you buy this one chances are you’ll just wish you hadn’t.

This is a wonderful product. Before installing my WiFi signal wouldn’t reach my entire home the same and after installing it I now have clear signals all over my home and in my patio where I spend a lot of time. Also, it has its own VPN for cyber and has block several security risks.

Replaced my existing 5 year old Orbi with this new one. The setup did not go very smoothly and the iPhone app did not work at all. I was able to get in from my computer's network cable and get everything setup the same as the old router. Everything connected once I put in the old network name and password. I got a new Orbi because the old one kept dropping connection a couple times a day. We will see if this one fixed the issue.

Our wifi speed has improved. Spectrum says their speed is 300+. With my old wifi router was only getting 20. If we used an extender, it got worse. With our new Orbi, it gets 300+........and we have devices working at the same time.

100% love love love! Really does extend the wifi! Easy set up. Put the router in one room and the 2nd piece (the extender) at the other end of the house. Works great! I would definitely recommend.

Great mesh router. Setup was easy. Speeds are excellent and coverage is my two story house and basement are perfect.
