OBD reader
works very well

Easy to use
Keep getting an intermittent engine warning light. Has been fixed once (hmmm!) at the garage. They said repeated warning could be due to a fault in wiring. Have a handheld plug-in OBD reader but need to connect it manually. This cheeky little piece of kit stays plugged in to the obd port in the car and connects to a mobile phone app to tell you what the warning light is. I downloaded 'car scanner' and it works fine and confirms it is the same 'fault' each time. My garage, and I think most do, would charge £30-40 just to take the reading and identify the fault!

Connectivity is a little tricky, lots of free apps to fi d out what the code means

Simple but working odb reader
I wasn't expecting this to clear my airbag lightfault but it worked like charm. I downloaded a third party app i think it call garage or something like that (not that crap app call torque, didn't ever read the srs code ) it read the and clear the error codes. My car is Citroen C1.

Didn’t work for my vehicle
I tried using for my Iveco daily and it didn’t work but it was a gamble worth taking!

I have purchased the gate I car obd professional solution item but it does not work with my Mercedes e 320 chi 2004 model I have followed all instructions that came with the unit but it will not pair with either my mobile phone a galaxy s9 note nor will it pair with my android head unit I was sold this item having stipulated my make and model of vehicular I have had it a while now and tried various phones using the recommended app so could you please let me know how to get this thing working or send replacement as I see no Bluetooth light on in for pairing this device in fact no lights at all

OK, make sure it matches your requirements
This was £8 sold directly by Amazon so excellent value. However as it's a cheaper chip it wouldn't function with my older car, I had to go looking for one with a legit ELM chip which I eventually found on eBay.
