Great pocket fit
A travel umbrella might seem like a small item, but when the weather turns, it quickly becomes one of the most valuable tools in your bag.The compact size is a major win — it folds down small enough to fit into a backpack, tote, or even a jacket pocket.

Cute little umberalla. Keep you dry
This little umbrella is super amazing ! Its compact and fits perfectly in my bag. That keeps me protected from un predicted rains of florida . Despite the small size, it holds up well in the wind and heavy rain. Its very stylish and modern . Its casing looks very premium. Its in my bag every day. Highly recommended . Worth a try .

Flimsy, almost impossible to open
Pros: very compact when closed, comes with a zippered carrying case.Cons: flimsy construction, difficult to open, difficult to get back in the carrying case.I bought this item, primarily due to its small size and being wind-resistant. However, when I unzipped the carrying case and attempted to open the umbrella, I couldn't. I tried everything to get the handle to extend and the umbrella to open, but failed. Finally I noticed what looked like a shiny wire twist-tie in the area where the handle release should have been and thought: "Oh, that's the problem, they've wired it shut with this twist-tie for shipping and the twist-tie needs to be removed before opening it the first time."Wrong! -- the "twist-tie" wire was actually part of the opening mechanism and several of the umbrella's struts were anchored to it. Removing the twist-tie wire caused the entire umbrella mechanism to fall apart.Which in a way was fortuitous because it exposed the inner workings of the canopy framework. All the struts were extremely thin and bendable. I doubt the "windproof" canopy could withstand anything but the lightest breeze. It was almost impossible to pack it back into its case for return.

Small, Light, but not Sturdy, (ok from car to doorway); Not sure I'd trust it in a real rainstorm
The Jury is still out on this. Pros: The umbrella fits folded up in my hiking pants back packet, partly because it is rectangular, not round (wouldn't fit in jeans back pocket). It would also fit in my purse or backpack easily. It is very light. If i was dashing from my car to the door, or the train to a cab/Uber, or from an Uber to a restaurant - I think It's stay dry, but if I were caught in a rainstorm on a hike -or even a walk around the block, I would definitely get wet.Cons: But it feels flimsy when you put it up, and it doesn't go up or down smoothly. The 1st time I tried to fold it up so it would fit into it's case I wasn't able to do it, the second time I manage, but the case wouldn't quite close all the way. also you have to hold the stem of the umbrella, the handle is too small. also the size, yes, it covered from shoulder to shoulder while it sprinkled, not sure if it would hold up under a storm. I am 5'6" 170 lb woman; if I were a larger man, I don't think my shoulders would be covered. If I had a brief case of back pack, I think it would be wet.

Small but powerful
We bought two for a trip to Singapore and Indonesia. I carried one in the side pocket of a fabric bag. Lightweight, easy open and close. I'm glad we got them.
