Good!
I like them. I love the pop tart pastry ones so this was very similar. I wished they had a variety pack. It is very filling though.

Expensive
If you’re a fan of Legendary protein snacks then you’ll likely enjoy these. There’s zero sugar so the not that sweet and, unlike traditional doughnuts, they’re very dense. Not bad, necessarily, but not for everyone. Despite that, I did enjoy them. And my sister, who doesn’t like Legendary Snacks because of what she calks a bad aftertaste, was surprised she enjoyed them as well. So, why only 3 stars? The first issue is the ingredients. I don’t know Jack about what’s optimal for making healthy snacks, but I do know that artificial food coloring is not it. I see no reason for any snack to need Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, and Yellow 6. Does it make it look pretty? Sure, but there are healthier alternatives available now, which brings me to issue #2. The price. With a price of nearly $30 for only 8 packs, I expect those healthier alternative colors. I can buy healthier doughnuts for less money. So while I do like Legendary snack foods, I probably won’t be getting these again.

Not as good as I hoped
Not as good as I hoped. The donuts were much smaller than I expected, there wasn't much frosting, and the dough had a dense cakey texture. It didn't taste much like a real donut.

Good for what they are
Obviously these can't be compared to regular Donuts. They have a different flavor profile and different texture. The thing about these is that if you're not using them as something to eat after a workout, I'd just skip them. They taste heavily processed, this doesn't necessarily mean they taste bad because they don't, they taste fine, it's just a flavor that lets you know that this is nowhere near a natural product and you have to be okay with that when you order these. They have two different kinds of non sugar sweetener, one is erythritol which is a little bit disappointing because that has all sorts of possible issues associated with it and personally I don't love the flavor of it. Sucralose also has some issues too and I don't think the flavor is all that great. I wish they had gone with stevia or monk fruit. If you do microwave these it does improve the texture quite a bit and they do taste better. I give them four stars even though they are filled with non sugar sweeteners and colorings that I don't think are necessary specifically because I think this could be a good stepping stone sort of product. If you're used to eating a lot of overly sweet things and you just need to get out of the Habit whilst also eating something that could be good post-workout then I think this has a purpose. Also, I think the way these are packaged is pretty adorable.

Love their poptarts, save your money - just buy the poptarts.
As a lover of their poptarts, these were just so disappointing.1. The bait and switch on the size is insane and honestly should be criminalized2. The flavor even after nuking them is bogusssss so dry, no filling, the icing is wack just dry and flavorless3. I was so disappointed i didn’t even finish one of them and i love a sweet treat with insane macros.. not even worth the macros so dissapointing. Can’t believe i wasted money on a case of them.

They hit
Anyone who says these aren’t good just eats too many real donuts. This is a great alternative to itch your craving, they taste great. Warming them up is a must though, otherwise they aren’t soft enough to be called a donut. 9/10.

Needs some more work on the flavor
My sister has celiac disease, so I have had gluten free food before, and for a gluten free donut they are not bad. But if you are just looking for a tasty and healthy donut, you probably won't like these. The sprinkles and strawberry taste are pretty good, but the donut part is very heavy and chewy, and had a bit of a stale taste. They were good enough that I ate two, but not good enough for me to try again. There are two in each packet and they are smaller than a regular donut but bigger than the little prepackaged snack donuts.

not bad if you heat them up, taste like mildew if you don’t
A few things you should know about me:I can’t eat gluten, so I haven’t had a real donut in ages.I didn’t know why erythritol wasn’t ideal until today.I am apparently sensitive to erythritol — which I learned after having a sudden-onset headache that didn’t respond to my migraine meds. Yay.So, anyway, this product contains erythritol. Beware. Also, you probably shouldn’t trust my opinion on what a good donut would taste like, but you can trust me when I say this isn’t it. It’s extremely sweet, with a texture that’s acceptable to me but only because I’ve been beaten down by eating gluten free for years. But the kicker is there’s an underlying hint of… mildew?Since the package said heating in the microwave would take the taste to the next level, I (somewhat apprehensively) tried it. And — again, bearing in mind that I haven’t had a real, gluteny donut in forever — I actually didn’t find the heated donut half bad. If it hadn’t caused me literal physical pain afterward, I probably would at least use up this box.But a protein donut that only tastes okay if you heat it up probably isn’t ideal for a lot of the folks who want to eat protein donuts. If you can’t eat gluten, don’t want to have this at the gym, and also can consume erythritol without consequences so intense you start researching thunderclap headaches just to be safe, these might be for you. They’re not for me.
